The 1199SEIU Benefit Funds are some of the largest self-administered labor-management Taft-Hartley funds in the nation, providing health coverage for 230,000 union members and their families. Our members work in more than 540 institutions in the greater New York metropolitan area, Hudson Valley, Long Island and upstate New York.

We are a Preferred Provider Organization, not an HMO or insurance company. Our priority is ensuring quality care for 1199SEIU members and their families. We are always looking for new, skilled providers. Please join us as a participating physician.

Fraud and Abuse

We are committed to protecting our members' benefit dollars to provide them with the health coverage they have earned, and to ensuring they are receiving the highest quality of care.

If you suspect a patient or provider is using the Funds' benefits fraudulently, please email our tipline — benefitfraud@1199Funds.org — or call our Fraud and Abuse Hotline at (646) 473-6148. You can report suspected fraud anonymously if you wish.
